About Us

Elthea Wizard of Oz & Elthea Oliver Twist

The word Elthea is actually a girls name meaning 'healing herb' which is derived from the greek word 'Althea' meaning "to heal".

We live in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. All our dogs live in the house with us and our cats. Some of them enjoy competing in various dog sports, including showing, agility and our favourite flyball, but most of all they are all loving companions.

Before being bred from all our dogs are eye tested, BAER hearing tested, hip scored and DNA tested Normal for CEA, CL and TNS (or genetically Normal by parentage).

In 2005 we joined the Kennel Club Accredited Breeders Scheme, which aims to promote responisble breeding.

I am now a qualified microchipper and can microchip your dogs, cats or rabbits in the comfort of your own home at competitive rates. Discounts available for breeders and clubs. Please contact me for further details.
